Introduction Childbirth can be a very painful experience, especially vaginally. It have many complications. The obstetrical complications of caesarean section are well studied but its psychological little mentioned. Most women recover quickly after giving birth, others seem to more difficulty. Researchers attempted identify perinatal risk factors for the development post-traumatic stress disorder in parturients and seems one predictors. Objectives objective our study is detect post traumatic vaginal delivery. Methods This cross-sectional descriptive conducted among from general population who given birth information was collected using questionnaire distributed on social networks. Symptom severity quantified PTSD checklist DSM-V (PCL-5).PCL-5 20-item self-assessment that measures 20 DSM-5 symptoms PTSD. She rates each symptom 0 (not at all) 4 (extremely). score varies 80. A threshold 33 allows screening disorder. Results 61 took part this study, 81.5% whom gave vaginally between ages 30.70.3% participants once, 44.4% twice 7.3% sample had three times.Regarding indication high way sample: narrowing pelvis fetal distress were 22.2%. Exceeding term 18.5% cases.In sample, 59.3% planned their delivery 40.7% urgently.Regarding results PCL-5 scale (PTSD DSM-V), 48 with median equal 12. 3.7% greater than 33. Conclusions Post-traumatic accompany childbirth, when it an emergency. Postpartum affects mother-child relationship complicated by depressive Medical monitoring pregnancy, good medical family support parturient preparation childbirth necessary better start maternity experience.
